Introducing HB Body
The Company
HB Body S.A. was established in 1982 with the aim to
produce and distribute high quality products for the automotive refinishing
industry. HB Body are based in Thessaloniki Greece in self owned
establishments. Eighty five percent of their products are exported to
fifty five countries all over the world, whilst still holding the lead position
within the Greek market place. HB Body S.A. has three subsidiaries in the
United Kingdom, Bulgaria and Serbia. Within Greece they also have a distribution
centre in Athens covering southern Greece and the islands.
Personnel
HB Body currently employ 250 people
within Greece a number which is increasing every year. For every five
employees there is one with a university degree. Amongst these are
Chemists, Mechanical Engineers, Economists and Computer experts.
Establishements - Investments
HB Body are situated in Thessaloniki
and Athens Greece on 120,000m2 of land. They have warehousing
and production covering 80,000m2. Product research, design and
development, administrative offices, training centre and the auditorium cover a
further 10,000m2. The auditorium seats 120 people with the
ability for three language translations simultaneously.
The company
has invested more than €21 million over a three year period (2007 - 2009).
Further to this there is another €10 million planned to be spent for the
next three years which includes a brand new plant of 3,500m2 on 12,000m2 land
for the production of clears, hardeners and thinners. The company is
really proud of it's technologically advanced logistics warehouse of empty tins
where 7000 pallets can be stored through a computerised system, the only one
existing in Greece and among a few in Europe.
An investment of €1.5 million is on its way for a distribution warehouse
in Bulgaria on land of 5,000m2. In 2007 HB Body S.A. invested €2
million for its distribution centre in Bristol UK.
ISO 9001
In 1998 HB Body S.A. obtained the ISO
9001 certificate by TUV (German Association for the Certification of Quality
Systems).
This is an official guarantee for quality assurance in
design development, production, installation and servicing. HB Body are
